The client is an international organization which had started a GDPR compliancy program in mid-2017.

The client sees GDPR as the new gold standard on Data Privacy and had advanced on its journey to prepare for implementation. After the initial preparation phase for which it has been working over the last year it is interested to receive an external assessment on the Gaps and the measures which need to be taken to become fully compliant.
Glownexus was selected to provide a full GDPR assessment of the organization based on its experience and efficiency thanks to the “accelerated GDPR” methodology and tools.
Results of the GDPR assessment
The Assessment with the recommendations for further actions and measures was delivered in 6 weeks’ time and delivered a complete company-wide assessment with details per country and business unit. The efficiency and effectiveness for delivery was high as the expert external advisors used a strong methodology and a dedicated tool-set. The client received a deep analysis of the GAPS against GDPR. The detailed risk analysis showed where the main risks were and what should be the focus for action. A full list of the actions and measures to become compliant was provided.

The independent external review provided management with a broad and deep overview on where the organization was on their GDPR journey. With the results the program was redefined and additional resources were allocated. Some of the priorities were changed.
